Shipito Member Rewards

Shipito Member Rewards is a program which allows you to earn points for activities such as shipping packages and referring friends to Shipito. Earning points allows you to achieve Standard, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond Rewards status. The higher the Rewards status, the more benefits you can select, such as discounted shipping, more storage time, and free or discounted services.
Shipito customers who purchase a Premium Annual membership are automatically enrolled in the Shipito Member Rewards program.
Your Rewards status for the new calendar year will be determined by the total points accumulated as of December 31 the previous calendar year. Throughout the new year, you can move up in Rewards status if you earn enough points for the next tier. For example: if you start the year as a silver, during that year you will have to earn 20 points to move up to the gold level. Your points do not stack from the previous year.

Yes, as you earn points, you can move up to the next Rewards status at any time in a calendar year. You cannot move down to a lower Rewards status within a year. For example: if you start the year as a silver, during that year you will have to earn 20 points to move up to the gold level.

No, you cannot purchase Shipito Member Rewards points at this time.

Rewards points may be earned in the following ways:

  • 1 point: ship a package weighing > 5lbs
  • 0.5 points: ship a package weighing < 5lbs
  • 0.5 points: order an assisted purchase
  • 1 point: sign up for an annual membership
  • 1 point: refer a friend who mails at least 1 package
  • 1 point: refer a friend who purchases a Premium Annual membership

  • No, you can only earn 1 Rewards point when purchasing a Premium Annual membership.
    Log into your Shipito account. Hover over “My Account” and click “My Rewards”, then select “Points Detail.”
    Yes, you will earn 1 Rewards point for every friend you refer to Shipito who ships at least one package. You can get an additional 1 point if they purchase and ship with a Premium Annual membership. There is no limit to the number of friends you can refer.
    There are two different ways you can refer a friend. The first way is to give your friend your box number. When your friend signs up there will be a box to enter a referral code. They should type your suite number into that box.

    The second way is to give out your URL. This way your box number will already be in the referral code space upon sign up. To find your URL you will login to your Shipito account. Then hover over “My Account” and click on “My Rewards”, “Reward Points”, then “View All Referrals”. Then click on the Plus sign next to “Refer a friend”. Here you will be able to copy your URL and share it with your friends.
    Log into your Shipito account. Hover over “My Account” and click “My Rewards”, then select “Reward Points.” Here you will see how many points you have earned from referrals. Click “View All Referrals” to see each one.
    At this time, you must give out your box number. If you really don’t want to do that you can sign up as an affiliate and receive commission on your referrals, however, those referrals will not earn your points towards your membership.
    Yes, Shipito will continue to track points for each qualifying activity, but you cannot use those points towards benefits unless you are a Premium Annual member.
    No, Shipito Member Rewards points do not roll over into the next calendar year. While your points do not roll over, they are used to determine your membership level for the next year.
    No, Rewards points are not transferable between accounts.

  • Platinum: 3 benefits
  • Diamond: 3 benefits plus 5% discount on all shipping

  • Yes, our Standard Premium Members enjoy great benefits such as discounted service fees, access to tax-free shipping via our Tualatin, Oregon warehouse, and 45 days of storage.
    Phone support is available to all Gold, Platinum, and Diamond Rewards members. All Shipito customers are entitled to free email and chat support.
    Phone support is available from 7 am to 6 pm PST Monday - Friday.
    The benefits selection window will be January 1 – January 31 each year. You can still select your benefits at any time after January 31, but they will not take effect until you do so.

    Your benefits are effective immediately once you select them. If you do not select your benefits for the new calendar year during the January enrollment period, your benefits from the previous calendar year will no longer be active on February 1.
    You can select your benefits at any time after January 31, however they don’t go into effect until they are selected. Benefits from the prior calendar year will no longer be active on February 1.
    No, you cannot change your benefits once they have been selected until the next calendar year benefit selection window in January. However, if you move up to the next Rewards status, you may select your new benefit at that time.
    Your benefits for a given year are determined by your activity in the previous calendar year. If you earn fewer Rewards points and qualify for a lower status than in previous years, you will have fewer benefits than you have had in the past.
    Yes, you must have an active Annual membership to use your Rewards benefits.
    Once you select your new benefits your old benefits will be gone. If you don’t select new benefits by the end of 2019, your benefits from the old program will still expire at the end of 2019.
    This service is exclusively available for our Platinum and Diamond members and allows you to speak to a Shipito premium care agent on the Shipito warehouse floor for any special requests. This service is available between 9am – 5pm PST, Monday - Friday.
